Ah yes-it is time to find that inner beauty and of that I can assure I have twice as much of than I did in my 20's and 30's!! Our parent's wisdom does indeed come in handy when raising our own children. I feel very fortunate that I had good role models in my parents although at times I thought they were way off base. Thanks for your input. Have a great day. Kathy

A post on Cody's blog sent me your way. It's great to see older people blogging and having their wisdom injected into the conversation. Welcome!

I don't really spend a lot of time looking in the mirror at myself but having just cleared 40 and find the person that I see reminds me of my father. Raising two kids (5 & 7) has been an eye-opener. Some of the phrases that I never thought I'd hear again from my parents come right out of my own mouth when I'm talking with my children. It's a cosmic wink from mother nature, part of some grand design I'm sure.

As Grace Slick once sang, "You're only pretty as you feel," it's your attitude inside that ultimately projects outward. Mirrors are just amplifying devices ;-)
